Plant Parenthood was founded to fill a gap in the discourse around parenting, family life, and psychedelics. We are a grassroots community organization currently working towards 501(c)(3) charitable status.

We are committed to:

Doing “the work” of integration, of taking a closer look at ourselves and our patterns and making sometimes difficult choices to enact change.

Looking at the topic of psychedelics with a Western lens while honoring thousands of years of Indigenous wisdom and experience.

Providing information based in peer-reviewed science, as well as empirical evidence from non-Western cultures.

Openness to disagreements, feedback or critique and maintaining respectful dialogue on challenging topics.

Approaching topics that are controversial, questioning paradigms and doing our part to help de-stigmatize the conversation around psychedelics and parenting.

Learning from but not appropriating Indigenous wisdom.
