Psychedelic Integration Workshop with Portland Psychedelic Society

Parents who use psychedelics have always faced a unique stigma and been subject to more scrutiny from their peers, community and even strangers. As we know, stigma does not contribute to good integration. Nor does living through a pandemic, where already stretched-for-time parents must now take on the full burden of work, childcare and schooling. So where does this leave our integration practices?

In this interactive workshop, we will discuss integration... with children. How can we continue our own practices to further the therapeutic potential of psychedelics together with our kids? What can they teach us about cognitive flexibility and accessing altered states? How can we bring them into our contemplative practices in ways that feel fulfilling to everyone? What can other cultural paradigms teach us about seamlessly integrating altered states? And how can all of these practices contribute to us becoming better parents?
